Officially established in 2016, the Western Australian Bone Research Collaboration (WABRC) is a cross- institutional, interdisciplinary collaboration of academic and clinical researchers.
The WABRC has a unified approach towards improving bone health across the lifespan, and mitigating bone disease through local, national and internationally relevant research, rapidly translated into clinical practice.

Preventative and remedial programs for primary and secondary prevention of osteoporosis across the lifespan
Collaborators come from a diverse range of disciplines across exercise science, medicine and support organisations. Research active involvement is supported in kind by collaborators host institutions which include Edith Cowan University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, Perth Children’s Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, University of Jyväskylä, University of Western Australia, and Griffith University.
